Let us tell you that China is continuously increasing the concern of India and America. After the Army and the Air Force, it is also rapidly increasing the strength of the Navy. In this sequence, on Friday, China launched its third aircraft carrier Fujian.
At the same time, China’s official media reported that the third aircraft carrier named after the eastern coastal province of Fujian was commissioned on Friday. The launch of China’s third aircraft carrier was delayed by two months due to the lockdown in Shanghai over Covid-19. It was to be commissioned on 23 April around the 73rd anniversary of the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN).
According to the information, China’s first aircraft carrier Liaoning is a refined version of the Soviet-era ship, which was commissioned in 2012 and then in 2019, the second aircraft carrier ‘Shandong’ was launched which was indigenously built. China’s new warship is said to be the first drone aircraft carrier. The ship can carry 50 unmanned systems, including unmanned boats, drones and underwater vehicles.
China is rapidly modernizing its navy, including building new aircraft carriers. China has also taken Sri Lanka’s Hambantota port on a 99-year lease and expanded and modernized Pakistan’s Gwadar port in the Arabian Sea.
